Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
The NSW Government makes this website service available to you on the terms and conditions set out hereunder.
On this website, the term licence refers to licences, registrations, permits, certificates, authorisations, accreditations, exemptions that are incorporated into the website.
It is impossible for the NSW Government to ensure that the services are provided to you at all times or at any specific times or will be able to operate at all times error-free. After hours provision of services are influenced by availability of related computer systems. The NSW Government makes no warranties in regard to the availability of services but all reasonable efforts will be made to provide the best possible service to you.
API Key, User ID and Password
Your API Key, User ID and Password are very important pieces of information and it is your responsibility to keep them secure. You agree to:
- choose a new Password whenever you are required to do so
- not disclose your API Key, User ID or Password to any other person, including family members
- not record or store your Password but to commit it to memory
- take reasonable care when accessing the service to ensure that your User ID or Password is not disclosed to any other person
- take every reasonable precaution to prevent the spread or diffusion of any software contamination including computer viruses
If you suspect that someone may know your API Key before you have used it to log in to the system, you agree to advise api.nsw and any relevant licensing authority at the earliest available opportunity.
If you suspect that someone may know your Password, you agree to login and change it immediately and to also advise the relevant licensing authority, in writing, of the suspected breach of the Password, by contacting us.
You agree that you will be responsible for any transactions made in relation to your licence using the API Key, User ID or Password.
Access to the service
Your access to the service will be denied if you enter incorrect identification information on more than 3 consecutive occasions.
The NSW Government reserves the right to deny or revoke access to the website where justified.
Use of information from this service may be governed by terms and conditions stipulated by the authority administering the licence or information. You need to be aware of, and agree to these conditions before you use this service.
These Terms of Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws in force in New South Wales, Australia. You irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
